If you have prior knowledge and experience in this industry, you are able to apply for recognition of prior learning RPL for any unit or units of competency within this qualification package.
RPL is a pathway to achieving competency.
RPL assessment is based on your ability to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required for the unit/s of competency (UoC) where RPL is sought.
To apply for RPL, means you have extensive skills and knowledge, are able to provide recent documented and video evidence if required, demonstrating your skills and knowledge for the UoC/s where RPL is sought.
You must be able to provide recent, specific and tangible evidence that you meet the competency criteria.
It is recommended to view the UoC/s requirement/s via www.training.gov.au prior to making an application for RPL.
Please think very carefully about RPL as you must have recent quantifiable evidence to demonstrate your existing skills and knowledge in the UoC/s where RPL is sought.
The RPL list of evidence and knowledge requirements can be found in the RPL Application kit for this course. This is provided to you if you choose to complete the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment via the RPL assessment pathway, and have enrolled.
Once your RPL application has been reviewed, if gaps are identified, further evidence will be requested from you.
You may need to complete gap training for specific units, or complete the whole unit/s where RPL is not able to be awarded.
Credit Transfer (CT)
